After Isaiah Washington referred to Knight as a "f----t" during an on-set argument with co-star Patrick Dempsey, the tabloids caught wind of it, Knight came out in the press, and Washington was fired.

While Knight doesn't specifically fault Rhimes for how the situation was handled behind the scenes, he says the exec producer was among those who tried to discourage him from coming out: "I think she was concerned about having my statement come out so close to the [initial] event." Rhimes denies this: "I said, 'If you want to come out, that's awesome. got to come out, and I got to say to him that it wouldn't affect his character' -- because he was concerned that he was going to come out and George would suddenly be gay.

This week, in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor reveals what led him to his decision, and he also candidly discusses "Isaiahgate," coming out of the closet, and leaving his friends at Seattle Grace.

Toussaint, 45, who was never mentioned in “Straight Outta Compton” — last year’s blockbuster movie about NWA’s rise — says the Lifetime movie wasn’t her idea. “ I have one scar on my neck, but I have been bleaching it for many years.

“When the opportunity arose I took it, because I was there [during the NWA years], too,” she says. It’s from his nails when he picked me up by my neck. I also have a scar on my leg and [on] my rib.” Toussaint says she thinks Knight will have a different view of the Lifetime movie.

“Dre told his version of the story [in ‘Straight Outta Compton’] so I should have the right to tell my story.” [Dre strongly denies the abuse allegations and has threatened legal action against Sony, the producer of “Surviving Compton.”] Toussaint narrates “Surviving Compton,” in which she’s played by Rhyon Nicole Brown. “I think Suge is going to take the movie a lot better than Dre,” she says.

After winning the Belgian First Division and the Ebony Shoe whilst a Liège player, he moved to England to join Everton FC.
